The specified directories are the default directories where the user can store his/her common data base. The most important setting is the ATP folder where all simulation output go and this is also called the ResultDir. The folder can also be specified in the ATP Connection Wizard, in the Toolbar item, and in ATP|Sub-process|Make ATP file. The user must have writing privileges to this folder.
These directories will appear as default in file open/save, import/export dialogs. All required data will be stored in the circuit project file, but the user can built up a library of external by using the export options in the BCTRAN, LCC, XFMR, Edit Model, Edit User Spec dialogs.

Project folder |
The directory where you store your project files (.acp). |
ATP folder |
Specifies the default result directory in which ATP files are created (.atp). This is the default Result Directory folder. The Result Directory folder can be changed sub-sequently with the ResultDir button on either the Toolbar or Sidebar or via ATP|Sub-process|Make ATP file. All results from LCC, BCTRAN, XFMR, and User Specified will also be stored in the Result Directory.The $Prefix/$Suffix cards can in all cases be turned on. If the button Results in current project folder is checked the suggested ResultDir will be the Project folder for new projects and the folder where the project is stored for existing projects. |
Model folder |
Directory containing support (.sup) and model (.mod) files for MODELS components. |
Help folder |
The container of user created help files (.txt). The name of the help file must be equal to the component name for instance resistor.txt. This file will then be displayed in the help screen (when Help is selected in the Component dialog) below the default, standard help text. |
User spec. folder |
Directory containing support (.sup) and library (.lib) files for user specified components. |
Line/Cable folder |
The default folder for line and cable models. This folder will contain alc files (Atpdraw line/cable data). The Noda format in ATP does not allow to full path of the include files to be specified. As a result all Noda lines (alc files) must be stored in the same directory as the final ATP-file. |
Transformer folder |
Directory containing the BCTRAN files (.bct files) and XFMR files (*.xfr). |
Plugins folder |
Directory containing project files (acp) which are added to the Selection menu (for import). |
