The following table describes the Integer settings available in the ATP Settings dialog box:
Output Control
Option |
Description |
Print Freq. |
Frequency of LUNIT6 output within the time-step loop. For example, a value of 3 means that every third time step will be printed. ATP parameter: IOUT. Values 0..65535 allowed. |
Plot Freq. |
Frequency of saving solution points to the PL4 output file. For example, a value of 2 means that every second time step will be written to the PL4 file. ATP parameter: IPLOT. Values 0..65535 allowed. |
Plotted output |
Writes ICAT=1 to the ATP file if checked. Produces a PL4 file. |
MemSave |
Controls the dumping of EMTP memory to disk at the end of simulation if START AGAIN request is specified. If checked indicates memory saving (START AGAIN). |
Printout
Option |
Description |
Network connectivity |
Writes table of connectivity written in the LUNIT6 output file if checked. ATP variable: DOUBLE. |
Steady-state phasors |
Select the level of steady-state output. ATP variable: KSSOUT=1 writes complete steady state solution to the LUNIT6 output file. Branch flows, switch flows and source injection. KSSOUT=0 suppress such output. Note: A probe with steady-state screen output will enforce KSSOUT=1 in time domain simulations as this is required to retrieve the information from the LIS-file. |
Extremal values: |
Writes extrema printed at the end of the LUNIT6 output file if checked. ATP variable: MAXOUT. |
Extra printout control |
Additional printout frequency control if checked. ATP variable: IPUN=-1. |
Auto-detect of simulation errors
ATPDraw can be requested to automatically examine the LIS-file after a simulation and display possible problems. The user can select 5 different error/warning flags.
