Password protection

 

Specify a password to protect the component. Applies to Models, Groups, and User specified component. This password must be remembered as there is no "forget" option. Confirm the password by retyping not copy/paste. The developer has a universal password for emergency situations only.

 

When a component is password protected it is not possible to inspect or Edit its content (Edit, Edit group, Edit definitions). It is neither possible to manually create an ATP file via ATP|Sub-process|Make ATP file (changing ResultDir work, however). The only way to run the case is via ATP|Run ATP (F2). Also ATP|Find node and Output Manager|Find do not show internal content of protected elements.

 

The output of protected elements is as far as possible hidden in the lis and atp files. It is thus not possible to run the created ATP file outside ATPDraw.
